Yes, the R-30-18's began to be rebuilt in 1942. The -12/-13's
were fodder for other rebuild programs including -18's.

J.P. -- I don't know for certain, but I think the "width" is the length
of the ladder rod between the stiles.
For example, Tichy makes 18" HO scale ladder rungs -- they do NOT work as
