That's my conclusion, too, since I've never found either a color
photo or NC&StL color documentation. FWIW, I painted my model
mineral red.

NC&StL #70229, Class FM-9, was built by ACF in July 1926. This car was the prototype for the Gould pattern. It used Dahlman trucks and had straight sidesills with a fish belly
