I'm not a Pennsy modeler either and we (undisclosed accompllces) though it would be a good idea but apparantly there were detail differences in the early cars with the CK scheme that pretty much rule

FINALLY! IMHO the SAL V-9/V-10 vents were some of the most visually appealing examples of the ventilated box car design. Everyone can use at least one car and southeastern modelers will need several.

I believe 50' class X47 also had ODP roofs, as well. One group of X29
rebuilds, all X29D, were done in that timeframe. All later X29 rebuilds were
done '55 and later.
