Some people have shown interest in the cars of this owner here.
This is the first one I've seen of CMWX 1001 (a sliding door car)

Can't say definitively, but it was putting Ride Control trucks under its 50-ton cars of the same vintage and its 70-ton cars later in the decade.

Re: automobile boxcar wreck
Per Ian Cranstone's list in CN Lines 7/3, page 27, this car was built by Pullman in April, 1929. The car would have had cast-steel "Bettendorf" trucks when built. CN did not use National Type B

Re: C&O 12392-12999 single door boxcars
It shouldn't. The C&O (and NKP) ARA 1932 cars had a late Hutchins radial roof (which is not the same as the 1920s Hutchins radial).

Re: WMRX (MDT) Insulated Boxcars
I have this Walthers car -- bought it at least 20 years ago. This
would be an awesome choice for a resin kit, but it's probably too
"modern" for most resin freight car enthusiasts.

Re: automobile boxcar wreck
Mark,
Do my eyes deceive me, or does this car (end doors/fire truck load) have "CV" (Central Vermont) reporting marks? Was CV or CB&Q the original owner?

WMRX (MDT) Insulated Boxcars
Greetings,
I would like to model several of these cars leased by the WM in 1956. These were originally built by MDT in sept 1931 apparently for Northern Refrigerator Line. Here's a pic previously
