the same data for the HPAX series 900-1049 (60 cars) and for the 7 cars in
series PPCX 1050-1064, PPCX 1058, and PPCX

In the 1/43 ORER, the only HPAX cars are 1000-1060:
L 37'3", IL 30'5" between ice tanks, IW 7'9", IH 7'2", door height 5'8", door width 4'8", cu ft 1691, 60 cars in series.

Scott, this was a welded roof with two narrow rectangular panels
between each seam cap. And the photos I have of new or nearly new
cars all show the roofs as having been painted.

I was looking at a picture of a ribside car and the caption says it has a "type 2 Murphy Double Panel Welded roof. Would this be the rectangle or diagonal roof they used? Also did they paint this
