I'm looking to use better rolling trucks & wheetsets on my layout, what
would be best for a replacement on rolling stock in the 1920's to 1940's.
mostly boxcars and coal hoppers.

Regular Loctite super glue is 01-30063. Yes, for what I had to pay for cyanopoxy I was less than satisfied with it (despite the claim it's used for the space shuttle's ceramic tiles). The Gorilla glue

Speaking of "cyanopoxy" I never had any success with it, despite following the directions carefully with what was supposed to be a fresh set.

This is indeed less expensive than the cyanopoxy glues and works well. The only shortcoming is the small tube runs out or dries up well before the activator. But I have found that just using the

Watch out for the Gorilla Glue. It expands with just the atmospheric
moisture. Please DON'T use it for model building!!!! Works good to hold
chair legs together on kitchen sets.

I have not used this glue for resin; but I know it works great for repairing
broken handrails made of engineering plastic. It's worth purchasing even if
that's your only use of it.

It's not just the images that are useful; check out the HUGE database of structure plans at the HABS/HAER collection. As far as I can tell, it's the largest collection of period structure
