bucks is a little much for me and soda at $40 for 50

`There is a product called Faux Fabrix in a spray can that simulates this
rather well. It's made pretty much for the model car guys. IIRC it's
available in black, grey or red.

My BL X43 had the same "feature" of the black roof. When I contacted BL about that they said that many of the X43's had an asphaultic compound sprayed over the painted roof and that was what they
