Off-line repack
Does anyone know iif there was a standard policy for what stenciling would
be applied by a railroad that repacked the journals on a foreign car? Again
remember that this is for FOREIGN road rolling

It varies, of course, and I also tend to batch assemble similar cars. As a
rule, however, I figure on one hour to assemble the box, assuming a house
car, which includes deflashing and washing.

RI and WM 40' Auto Cars
I recently finished assembling a 40' automobile boxcar for both the RI and
WM from kits by Sunshine (kit 55.2 and 55.3). The RI car has 14'6" door
openings and the WM car has 12'6" door openings.
