That looks to be a USRA 0-6-0 oil burner. A perfect locomotive for a short short line.

Paul,
There is a photo of Evangeline 0-6-0 6920 at this location: https://sites.google.com/site/steamlocomotivephotographs2/xdk . Be patient. It takes a while to load, as there are a mess of photos on

I've had exactly your problem, Don.
Throw it out & get a new bottle.

It may seem profligate......but I don't waste my time "saving" - keeping - preserving what are quite essentially products to be consumed. I've never had a problem with aged or aging ACC because I

Re: Evangeline Railway
Per the Feb. 1951 Official Guide it ran from Belle Chaney (Evangeline Jct.), Louisiana to Greer, LA, 2.2 miles. Connected at Evangeline Jct with the Rock Island.

Re: A Bad Day For PRR Boxcar 566640
Ben,
I noticed that too!
BTW, I thought that the B&O car was a covered hopper as well, due to the grey color, but I see that it is labelled "BALLAST..." so I think that it might actually be an open

Evangeline Railway
Hi
I know this is a bit of subject but asking for a friend. Where did the Evangeline Railway run to and from?
Thank you

Oddly, this photo is heavily doctored. Note the trees have been painted to the left side, and below the covered hopper.

Re: [Non-DoD Source] Re: [RealSTMFC] ACC problems
If you buy the small squeeze tubes that hold only a fractional ounce, the ones typically sold in multi-packs, none of this is an issue. You just toss it out whenever it is less than perfect, and open

Re: ACC problems
I have also recently run into a shelf life issue with ACC and nothing would stick even with accelerator. No idea how long I have had it but probably several years. Buying a new bottle fixed the issue.

Re: [Non-DoD Source] Re: [RealSTMFC] ACC problems
I've always assumed keeping it in the fridge was an attempt to keep it in a lower absolute humidity environment, though it may also be about lowering reaction rate. Dessicant should help too.

Re: Freight Car of the Day the G31D truck frame car
My first “guess” would be Parrish/Dana in Reading PA as they manufactured auto and truck frames.
The Reading did serve Mack Trucks in Allentown but I don’t recall ever seeing any truck frame

Aron Alpha dates back to 1963; I ran out of E510 and a friend suggested I try the other. The web site, <https://aronalpha.net/>, bills it as "high performance".
