I base my one car on Thompson et al 😉 page 114, R-40-2 70067 at Roseville in March 1944 with the full realization that the car might be at Roseville, getting the placards removed.

Thanks Dennis great info. I’ve always liked that scheme but felt it was too new for my October 1953 era. I have Ted’s decals so I’ll give it a go. I saved Lester’s blog as well
