0.6mm plywood
Group,
I would like to find some 0.6mm plywood (roughly 2" HO scale) to have some wood running boards cut. I know this stuff is used in the hobby as I have some flatcar decks of this thickness. This

Re: Photo: GACX 42594 - Airslide Hopper
You guys need to enlarge the image and actually read what the side of the car has stenciled on it. Then the whole donut vs police protecting their staple subsistence makes more sense.

You can't unload doughnuts frpm an Airslide. The hole in the middle prevents the airflow from doing any good.
Now maybe unglazed jelly doughnuts......

what makes you think the car had a police escort?
it's possible a car full of sugar would be targeted by strikers.

Early Kadee PS-1
I don't recall a write-up of the early version of the Kadee PS-1. After waiting to see undec versions, I finally gave up and bought a decorated one to serve as fodder for a 12-panel PS-1 rework.

Claus, Gang;
Yes, there are at least two.
This (1931) was in the big LCL Corporation experiment with the railroads, wasn't it?
Thanks!

Hi Elden,
I don't have the answer to the question, but I do notice there are at least two different design containers in the gons.
