Steve, those are probably the 'return to' stenciling. They would be at the extreme left of the car side, butted up against the end of the car above the grabs. That was the MoPac standard location

For a loaded gon I’ve built the panel’s up with thick super glue to replicate bulges. Of course if the gon is empty this doesn’t work on the inside.
