I think it would be a very large share - 75% or more.
Ripe strawberries were a seasonal cargo from Louisiana (traveling in express reefers)
Probably other seasonal fruits in there too - melons,

Just a quick look at your 1925 showed around 31,000 fresh fruit loads for the Illnois Central. Anyone know how much bannas made up that number? Just curious.

Have the Bowser 70-ton Hoppers been retooled since their introduction? Hard to believe they could be as well done as the InterMountain version, one of the few built up models I have purchased.
