You are correct Brian, it was Steve - I worked with a Bob Kocsis at one time hence the mix-up. Steve mentioned he wished they had more volunteers.

That would be either Joe or Steve Kocsis. We have lots and lots already scanned. More photo collections are coming. Can’t put everything up at once. Thankfully, we have a good team.

Hi Dave,
These look like rebuilt SS cars. SAL had a series of XM-1 cars, the B-5 series, I believe, that when rebuilt, showed the bottom of the side trusses in this fashion.

Victor,
Have you broken down the car designs and quantities from the Wabash ORER listings for your era? I did this for the 1926 B&O fleet to guide my modeling.

Wabash HO Box Cars for early to mid 1950s?
I model the Wabash in the early to mid 1950s and have come to realize that I don't have enough Wabash box cars. It would seem I need more 40 ft. steel cars that are accurate. I have a few rebuilds

Interesting photo of a flat car that took a bit of research to identify.

Thank you, Charlie. I enjoyed building the Tichy kits and adding the proper extras. The Westerfield decal sets make it easy to letter for the 1926 appearance, which is close to as-built.
