The last two photos are of the same car.
PPKX 5588 carries the name "Turner". Notice the end door is covering part of the reporting marks.

Looks like a broken gun barrel. Just above the stake pocket between the "VA." and "320" appears to be a broken end.
Or is that a second, shorter barrel?
