A fine build. And I really like your track scenery too! (Sidings with weeds, I love that.) :-)

Re: Lateral Running Boards
Ken,
There are no specifics within the text or drawings, but I would venture to say that that latitudinal running boards would not have been required on a tarred canvas roof.

Sunshine Models NOT&M SS boxcar
Howe Truss New Orleans, Texas & Mexico single sheathed boxcar from Sunshine Models. I came across a photo of a MP SS boxcar in the color guide that had an unpainted galvanized roof with the seam caps

Thanks for that image, Jason. It's the same car type: note the Pressed Steel fishbelly side sills.

Near as I can make out, the car number is 67394. And it's definitely got a radial roof.
I'vce attached as clean a copy of the image as I can grab.

I agree Ray but it’s the only photo I’ve seen of a broadside of this modified type car.
Let me know your thoughts on the roof please. Radial or flat?

Late... but relevant.
I took the I mage Claus posted and tried to correct the color. I was able to get a tiny bit of blue into the sky w/o losing the BCR, corrected much of the contrast problems,

Re: Need help / GM&O 17000 series boxcars
1967 repack date and absolutely no dimensional data. This is a MOW car. In revenue service, none got GM&O paint, and none survived past 1954.
