They both look like 69203 to me which makes it an X31 built in 1934. There are no X31 or subclasses in the 89xxx number series.

The capacity you are referring to is the truck capacity as on any other freight car, not to be confused with the gallonage capacity of the car.

I see four deal breakers unless I'm willing to do some major surgery on these models. The end ladder is plastic with rungs at least three times the diameter of the wire side grab irons. They look
