Re: Pagnoni Presses, was Question about 40 ft. gondolas
I started working on a 3D design for the "Paganoni Press" flat car load today for Richard. When I get the parts to fix my printer, I could print one for your friend Marty.

The photos are available on the groups.io web site. Take the link at the bottom of the message.
Note that the gondola was not a 40 footer, it was a 52 foot one.

Re: Scaletrains HO PS-1 40' boxcar
Looking at the pics again from Steve they came they stacked and not embedded so the gon looked the same length as the reefer. If it is longer it’s ex MTH tooling.

Can confirm the reefer is also ex MTH. MTH had what they called a 70 ton mill gon. It was similiar to Bethlehem and Greenville cars, but I never looked at it too closely since Proto and tangent had

Re: Scaletrains HO PS-1 40' boxcar
I was a bit surprised by the Scale Trains PS-1's as it seems like they are intended to be the Blue Box cars of the 2020's with everything cast on. I took a couple of pictures with my phone. I hope

Re: CB&Q flats (was Question about 40 ft. gondolas)
Group, The Burlington had near identical 52' flats like the NP & SP&S. They were classified as FM-12. There are minor differences notably where the deck lines up with the stake pockets. The FM-14 is a

Re: Trying to find a drawing
I have read the same. A car loaded with “PHP” (packing house products) would have processed meat products, like Doug lists, and often cut meat reduced from sides, all of it stacked on the floor.

<< Scaletrains made the announcement of their kit classic PS-1 boxcar. The artwork dates are later 40's to early 50's
The MN&S car is not for this time period, it is 60's and later

Okay me of the best modelers I know is John Paganoni. I’m going to show this to him - I’m sure he’ll get a kick out if it.

Re: CNJ Lady Liberty Emblem
I can tell you it was before 1945. But the LARGE emblem appeared in 1957.

Re: CB&Q flats (was Question about 40 ft. gondolas)
Bill
The CB&Q cars' decks were 1'6" longer than the NP cars 52'0" decks, but it's close enough. :-)
The CB&Q series 92000-92399 were identical, were they not ?

Re: Question about 40 ft. gondolas
I have Jerry's decals (and some of his flat car kits), but my friend wants them for the Chinese Red cars. Jerry's are for the mineral red cars. The lettering is quite different.
