PFE R-30 & R-40 rebuilds were often in mixed series - with 30 and40
ton cars (different underframes) in the same number series.
So yes, I agree it's 65327. But the question remains. :-)

I use a brass "bristle" brush and it cleans the files justfine. I guess if one got really
gunked up I'd take it outside for a grit blast. But I also use emeryboards, and the newer
brands of foam-core
