Re: WTB: 40-foot PS-1 underframe for Six-foot door
FYI Intermountain makes a postwar welded AAR underframe (not the entirefloor).
The AAR and PS designs are noticeably different but it really onlymatters if you
hold them upside down... :-)

Re: upcoming Kadee releases
Bill, the 516 is a tabbed-sill, 8 foot door, 50 foot PS-1.
The 50 foot double door WP PS-1 cars are just a re-run - new carnumber.
Sadly, Kadee hasn't done any of the WP "bold yellow" repaintsyet, as

Tim,
IIRC, the Kurtz Kraft/Cannonball PS-1 is too wide. Back in the old DING someplace there was a photo comparing the ends to other early PS-1 models, but I am unable to locate

HO for sale resin and Kadee
I have a (bad?) habit of buyer models when they are released, and sometimes they languish in my unbuilt kit stash so I’m cleaning out a few more kits I probably won’t get around to building. I

Actually, the McKean underframe didn't carry over. The Accurail models use the same underframe

Re: upcoming Kadee releases
The car Kadee is showing is a 40-foot car numbered #516, although as I look at their photo a second time maybe it is a 50-foot car.
BTW, Kadee is doing WP DD 50-footer set for a September 2017 release

Dave,
How are those statements refuted? Yes, some newsprint was made in NewEngland.
But MILLIONS of tons were required for the USA, and more than 80% of USpaper

"Didn't [the Kurtz-Kraft] kit become a Cannonball Car offering?"
Correct. It's still available from Model RR Warehouse, though you'll have to dig through their website to find
