Re: Steam Fittings for Tank Car Heads
Hi Steve:
The only thing that comes to mind is (maybe) one of the clean-out/wash-out plugs from the Pre Scale locomotive catalog. Might get you the flange and then you could add the pipe-ends?
Best

Re: GM&O 35200 Series Automobile Car
Hi Scott, the corner braces and rest of the underframe are all scratch from styrene. For the corner braces, I made a scale copy off the general arrangement drawing and cut the braces from the paper.

Hi George,
This is an incredible model! I don't know whether to be intimidated, awestruck, or both. Inspired, at the very least.
I'd like to know about the corner

George, there’s no question about you setting the bar for craftsmanship. You’ve produced another outstanding model that would be completely at home is a museum. Your work is a benchmark for all of

Thank you for digging up those images, Dennis. I will assume they were banded into bundles and placed U-down, loosely in the car...unless I see differently.

Re: MILW Gondola Painting
Thanks, Brian. That was my original intention, but I got ahead of myself and painted the whole car MILW freight car red. That makes masking to do the wood more difficult, as the drop doors are steel
