Re: F30D Trailer Train flat photos
Guys;
There is a good deck shot of F30D 475051 on pages 52-53 of the PRR flat car book. I think the real issue with doing an F30D (or any of the other PRR trailer flats) is the difficulty of doing

Re: SHPX Tank Car Decals
Hi Bill,
Hope you're doing well out there in sunny Hawaii. I am in cold rainy Berlin this week.
Al Ferguson of Black Cat makes an excellent HO set. I got a few from him a couple of years ago.

Re: Tangent Scale Models GATC 8, 000 Gallon 1917-Design Radial Course Tank Car
That is also my question with the new RTR Undecorated tank cars having no photo to inspect. Do these painted RTR undec's have K brake or AB
brake gear on them? More information would be helpful.

Re: Deep Rock (was Tangent Scale Models GATC ... tank car)
Stephen
I'm sure you meant not allowed in unrestricted interchange.:-)
But the January 1953 ORER shows no DRX reporting marks for anything.
I think that means the cars were no longer in Deep Rock

Problem with the Deep Rock is that it has KC brakes, and those were not allowed in interchange after (?) Jan. 1, 1953.

SHPX Tank Car Decals
Years ago I did a SHPX tank car and had to cobel several decal sets at the time in order to get the "Minton WT 00,000" lettering. This resulted in mismatched sizes in the Capy and WT lettering.

The number of UTLX X3s and their longevity begs question, why has no one ever done this car in plastic?

Jeremy:
This is just my 2 cents. If you are modeling the late 1930s, the X-3 tank cars should probably be your staple car for UTLX. Unfortunately there has never been a quality RTR for the X-3.

This is like asking for a "pickle car" for many reasons...
1) There is no one type or builder of 2 dome cars. Most of the major tank car builders built such cars.
2) There is no one capacity of 2
