Yarmouth stirrups
I'm currently retrofitting a P2K auto box with the Yarmouth etched steps. How do you guys get crisp 90 degree bends. I'm going to use this whole package on car I fear.

Hi Bill,
I, too, wold like a good set or two of GA & FLA decals but with the triangular herald
as well. My question, however, is whether or not Walthers ever offered any decals that'
are as sharp

Umm ... the 1/43 and 1/53 ORERs show no DD boxcars for the Georgia & Florida. As stated previously, G&F 8001-8060 had 6' doors.

The decals could be either Walthers or Sunshine. I cannot imagine what the inspiration is for this car because AFAIK the ONLY SS DD 40-ft cars owned by a southeastern railroad were Pratt trussed cars

Dennis,
Great idea! A little more searching and I found a much earlier patent for a "Self-locking load-binder" in 1889.

Not much between there and the one
