FWIW, I found the Williams Brothers tanks to be oversize plus not being suitable for horizontal mounting. The GL tanks are the gold standard. The only bad thing about the GL kits is that there are

Those Murphy end cars with the Zero Rib panels, at least on the C&O, were usually rebuilt cars that originally had wooden sides and were rebuilt with steel side-assembly kits. The new cars were 9-10

Fortunately I knew I needed a bunch of tanks for my 8 bulk oil dealers before building my layout. I ordered six kits. I have plenty of tanks, but need a lot more vents, spouts and piping.
