Pacific Northwest WWII was Lumber Traffic
A similar, documented commodity flow during the war was Alcohol from Canada and Pacific North West points to Richmond CA for export to the USSR under Lend-Lease. I wrote a blog post about it in 2012

Yes they did. I drew a lettering diagram of one that sat for years in St. Paul, when I worked for the MILW. don't know if I can find it.

I'm assuming for interchange, given that these cars were numbered PGER 3045-3099 & PGER 20500-24499 (PGER reporting marks were for international use), but these cars weren't acquired until
