SFRD decals from C&BT
Add these to the list.
I'm sure the decals from the small manufacturers listed in Charlie Vlk's message have different optimum application characteristics. How about a summary in a magazine

Ben and Larry,
Westerfield has models for the GN cars as well, in the 10400 series. They are more detailed than the F&C models, but the F&C cars can still be built into nice looking models.

Marty,
The last truss rod freight cars were built in the late 20's.
There may have been some exceptions but that's a good

The DM&IR had wood box and refrigerator cars with truss rods,a steel center sill, arch bar trucks and K brakes that they used on line in revenue service until the 1970's. This is an unusual case, but

The Pacific Lumber Co. built at least one truss rod woodframed log car in 1974, which was then donated to the Bay Area ElectricRailroad museum. The Pacific

I think any decoder could be stationary if you wanted, it just needs to be connected to the rails. And of course it needs a speaker which takes up room in any car but if a stationary mounting
