as a GATC tank car. I have over a dozen shots of UTLX 3-dome tank carsand this

Yes, the closest one is a Type X converted to a 3-dome car at some point. It was not unusual for older tanks to be converted in the '30s and '40s to handle specialized commodities in small quantities.

No, not the same car, but a very interesting one. I saw one these B7a boxcars in MW service a few years ago, and there are/were three rusting away on blocks in Crewe, VA. in the NS
