Any thoughts on the boxcars visible in this image?
Hi List Members,
Any thoughts on the boxcars visible in this image?
Numbering from left to right, it seems to me that cars 1 and 2 may be identical except for the doors, and are both SP.

Chrysler trucks
And I have stopped lobbying Brian Leppert for a Chrysler truck after he said that his multiple slide mold base will not allow the distinctive shock absorber. Almost every Branchline GARX 50' box car

Re: Trucks for B&O M-53
Yes, they did, but AFAIK they are not currently available.
Tim, all of Kadee’s trucks are available with .088 wheels if you order direct from Kadee. They are happy to assemble trucks with .088

Re: Unknown Freight Car Move ca 1935
Hi John,
Not military. They look more like yurts to me, meaning that they're actually shepherd's wagons.
Odd to see a technology that antique riding the rails in the late 1930s.

B&O M-53 door
Does anyone have a drawing for the flat door for the M53? Even a hand sketch might do. Is it in any Car Builders? I have 3 of them.
Please reply directly to bill@...
Thank You,
Bill

Re: Rapido Reefer
Greg, I’ve already replaced the trucks on one of my models with Tahoe trucks (matching the URTX prototype I want to model) and there’s no problem at all. coupler height remains standard.

Athearn's Santa Fe 50ft ice reefer, Rr-30, did come with National B-1 trucks and I too wish Athearn would issue offer this truck as a separate part. Their truck had good detail and rolled well. A

Ross, as others have pointed out, the Santa Fe owned only one class of AAR steel box cars that were 10’0” high inside, the Bx-27 class (2,000 cars). Built in 1937, they had 5/4 square-cornered

Re: Santa Fe '37 AAR Prototype Photo Please
I am looking for a prototype picture of the Red Caboose '37 40' AAR box car.
Which roof walk would they have had in 1958? Also wondering if they ever had
the Viking roof? Thanks,

Re: Trucks for B&O M-53
Didn't Athearn produce B-1 trucks as well?
Every single time I see Sam Clarke I tell him I will buy his trucks oncehe starts selling them with .088 wheels.
I suggest EVERYBODY do the same.
