Re: St. Louis RPM wrap up
Eric,
I liked your photos, with their stroke frames, giving them a “formal portrait” look. Great job!

Re: [Non-DoD Source] [RealSTMFC] Rapido - USRA SS Boxcar change / USRA SS Boxcar CPR "Clone"
Guys;
Rapido has been very responsive to our pointing out of details like the rebuilds with Hutchins roofs and new doors.
Not everyone chooses to get things right.
Kudos to Rapido!

Re: [EXT] [RealSTMFC] Flat car PRR 474194 with load taken in 1977
That's an Owens-Corning Figerglass tank. Looks like a 20,000 tank OC sold their 3 plant in 1995 to Fluid Containment. One of those plants was in Mt Union PA.
Nice Slide.

Re: Sunshine NYC Hopper Minikit?
Thanks guys. I severely misworded the original question. I don't have one of these minikits, but was wondering if the Alternate Standard hopper was similar enough dimensionally. Now I see that it

Brian, Since you have to remove or do some carving on the original sides, I don't see why not. The AAR Alternate and AAR twins have 11 side stakes. The AAR Alternate has even spacing, the AAR does

It's called 'Embellishing' ; )) 78 holes for real adding in the sill steps. Still have a few holes to drill in the underframe for brake rigging.

I do not yet have a copy of RP CYC #35, so I don't have the photo Irv referenced. So I will do some

Re: Intermountain display at Collinsville
Group,
My previous post contained a bit of an error that should have been obvious to a CB&Q modeler such as myself. It turns out at least one series of cars was built with a flat panel welded roof
