mid 1930 appears more accurate than spring1930 as the Erie order may have continued to be built through August.If any one has conclusive dates, I'm interested.

Thanks for the replies folks. The info on my blog shows that at least in the late 30's, the pickling station at Foraker was a Libby, McNeil and Libby property. But in 1953 it was apparently locally

AC&F produced 2 pickle tank cars for Libby as lot 5552 on 6/15/09. These were copies of a Hyman Pickles car lot 3277 of4/15/04. Both photos are in the Westerfield AC&F Builders’ Photosdisk. – Al

Not sure what Libby cars looked like, they would have been part of Libby, McNeill, Libby Co. who started out canning meat in Chicago in 1868. They had pickle salting stations in Wis & Mich as well as
