This question has already received appropriate response but had me wondering again about the same question applied to the 8-hatch reefers also used by both of the two large Canadian roads. In

Re: True Line Trains CP Mini-Box
Has the CP mini-box been released by TrueLine and is it being handled by any US dealers? Klein doesn't show it.
Thanks,
Bill McCoy

Re: Replacement medal wheel ssets
Medal is a military thing...metal wheels are another! Kadees work great and are less expensive than all the others out there. Get the truck tool and bore out the holes for the axels, I've been doing

Re: True Line trains slab side CN covered hopper
Since you asked here is a link: http://www.rr-fallenflags.org/cp/cp387167ajs.jpg
But this is straying outside the guidelines as the tank hoppers were built after 1960.

Re: Kyodo Steel snow plow question
You are forgetting about the former B&M line to Wells River, VT, John, otherwise known as the Lyndonville Subdivision, where one was also used. Have photos of it at Newport, VT.
Cordially, Don

Re: Kyodo Steel snow plow question
CNR has been suggested but I think not. Try CPR instead and you'll probably have it. The same snowplow was offered by Kemtron in both HO & O scale eons ago. Still have my HO one for CPR use. IIRC

Re: True Line trains slab side CN covered hopper
The Barrett cars were converted from GATC tank cars built in the 1920s. But they have noting to do with the Canadian covered hoppers that are under discussion here.

Larry, Northwest Shot Line semi-scale wheel sets, my usual replacement for code 110 wheel sets, roll very freely in Accurail trucks.

I guess I need to remember to indicate humor. Both Dennis and Gene wrote good, serious responses to what I had, for the most part, intended as a play on Eldon's "What more could a modeler want?"

Re: Replacement medal wheel ssets
Larry,
One of the best tools you can get for this is the Reboxx trial set, with a wide range of axle lengths. I use it all the time to determine which replacement wheels to use.
Regards
Bruce

Re: Kyodo Steel snow plow question
Definitely a Canadian design built in large numbers by Eastern Car Company, but also by Dominion Car Company and National Steel Car Company.
Not seen in the US except at Brownsville Junction, Maine,

Bill,
Absolutely! Shipments from Canada to just about anywhere in the US could be carried in these cars. The real issue is that they were not supposed to be used for complete movements on this side
