I will throw in my .02, and say over 250 stock cars moved over the Inside Gateway
( north & south combined) in Oct. '47
155 were GN, NP (47) , WP, UP,TNO,SP,DRGW,MILW,CNW also show

'short haul' such as from a producer to a regional

Sometimes a truck could have just one sideframe replaced. So if a photo shows what looks like two different trucks, look at the bolster ends. If they don't match then it's two different trucks. If

I have many photos of older cars where a truck was changed out (probably off-line) and replaced with a different truck than the original one because that was what the shop had where the replacement

and Pueblo had a major regional operation (Nuckolls).

Hi all,
So I have a 40-foot car, CB&T, SSW 40432, that has two
different trucks under it. One is an Accurail #203, Andrews
U-section. The other is a modern truck with roller bearings
and 3 spring
