The RMJ article mentioned earlier (10/00, pp19-25) shows two cars in the CN/GTW 587400-587899 series. Both lack the bifurcated rib in their stretch panels: instead, they have two full ribs.

Ed, the 10/40 ORER has 500 cars in the 470250-470749 series and 500 cars in 587400-587899 series. The July 1942 edition shows 496 in 470250-470749 and 637 in the 587400-588036 series.
