Trucks for the ProtoWest flat cars
Now that I'm almost recovered from the drive home from Amherst, it's back to work building resin.
Can someone tell me the correct trucks for the ProtoWest flat cars. Does TMW make the truck

Hi Clark this link tells the story, they say essentially that it meant a

Re: TLT Canadian 8-hatch reefers
You're just special, Don. I'm just conveying what I was told. The
cars were decorated for the Amherst Belt Lines layout. Too modern for
you anyway.

Re: Amhearst Report?!
I know Pierre, and he was at Springfield, but he was over by Ted when
I saw him, while someone else was sitting in the Elgin Car Shops booth.
I wanted to get one of the NYC rebuilds he had for sale

Awhile back I built a Branchline 40’ NYC box car. It is box car red with a “Pacemaker” slogan over the initials on the left and a fairly large white star on the right side between the oval

Did all ATSF and CNW 1942 AAR box cars have the shortened top "darts"
Evening,
I've been searching for a bit now and I haven't been able to find a conclusive answer as to whether all of the 1942 AAR box cars for Santa Fe and CNW/CMO have the shortened "darts" between

Re: Paint question
Jeff & Fenton, I have had very good luck with ModelFlex, after a time of
learning how . And my wife loves the lack of odor. I love the easy cleanup.
Bruce lists some fine points. Here are a couple

Elgin Car Shops is Pierre Oliver, an active member of this list. Did a nice
presentation on finishing resin cars at Naperville a couple of years ago.
And does excellent work.

Re: IMWX MDT Reefer
If your reference is to the Intermountain model that represents a PFE
R-40-23, then the answer is no, primarily because the ends are
wrong. IM did a fine job on the body, paint and lettering,

Hello Rich it is already decorated! The roof and doors do not match the car color, so might have to start over. Just like IMWX cars and found history AEC.

Tim,
The 8-hatch reefer model on display was the pre-production sample of the Canadian Pacific version with plug doors, which will be released before the CN/GTW version which has different features

You must mean this car--

Their STMFC models are very nice stuff. I expect the reefer to be as nice as their other cars.
