Truss rod cars were banned in 1952, steel center beams excepted.
K-brakes banned in August of 1953
1953 - Trucks with "T" and "L" section banned
1953 - Lower

In mid-1956 the GN still had 62 truss rod boxcars in the 9000-9999 series in service and 13 boxcars in the 28000-28499 series.
