Chickasaw Ship Building & Car Co, Fairfield, AL 1921 - 1928 was a subsidiary of US Steel - Purchased by Pullman about 1929. Some equipment moved to the new Pullman plant in Bessemer, AL.

Thanks for confirming my memory. The correspondense file Mr. Dick sent me was interesting; it consisted of letter from Mr. Robertson to various car inspectors and car foreman soliciting testimonials

Yes, it is. Also the ten milk cars built at Shoreham. Two problems:
The CV part is almost a scale foot too wide... for the NP stock car as well.

The roof was designed by Mr. H.M. Robertson who was the Master Car Builder on the Northern Pacific. I have photos of the roof components on NP Scale Test Tool Car #41 and also NP Single Sheathed
