The 1931 Car Builder;s Cyclopedia that Train Shed Cyclopedia No. 46 reprinted, has the builder picture and the builder was Pressed Steel Car. Its on page 243 in fig. 276.

The PRR H6a class (1904 vintage 2-8-0 for the non-SPF's) has an empty weight about 22,000 pounds under the "working order" weight, which should mostly be water in the boiler, full sand dome,

ETO (European Theater of Operations) General Arrangement Drawing indicates an empty weight of 65.6 Long Tons,(2200 lbs. I believe) giving an actual weight of 144,320 (calculated) lbs.

Another gon with drop doors are the Santa Fe's Ga-22 and Ga-25 composite gons, done in resin by Sunshine complete with drop doors cast in white metal for weight, their Kit # 61.1. The one piece ends

Walthers lists the DA kits as out of stock, but several other on-line vendors seem to have them. Walthers and other vendors also have DA GS gon parts in stock.

Tim is correct about the number series. W&R had a hard order for 50 of the cars before it decided to import them. Some DRGW modeler has long gondola drags to run.
