I have the Cascade brass flat -- a beautiful model. Cascade imported two
versions -- with a deck, and no deck at all. So the steel portions of the

I've done the same, and it certainly captures the appearance of the
GN's Dalman-Andrews trucks, though perhaps not absolutely accurate (a
small fillet of gap-filling CA above where the journal box

I added a piece of strip styrene between - near the springs and the jounral box on TMW Dalmans. Makes them look Andrewsish...I believe Bill Welch has done the same.

Chad likely meant the 65000 (not 56000) series of flatcars that were imported in brass by Cascade Models ages ago. Seims-Stemble Co built these cars in 1928.
