As an old architect, we called them "reverse sepias" and that is what used when you sent out a proposed change order to the Contractor, among other things. That way we did not make changes to the

A "Blueprint" is blue with white lines. A "Blueline" drawing is the reverse... white paper with blue lines. You're correct about mark-ups... most common is probably red but yellow and green

You should call them by the correct name and that is "blue print". They were made by a wet process that was just beginning to go away when I was a young architect but was the preferred process for

Brown lines were used in the auto industry up to the turn of century . . . . primarily for studies and getting prototype parts for concept vehicle builds. You could also make low-quality blue-print

Knowing Baltimore was a key port for unloading bananas I used that that fruit to do a search and 7 images came up. Will try other words later. The searches and images seem to take a while to come

What about the D&H? They owned 1000 USRA hoppers and and around 1/4
were converted to panel sides.
