Walthers flat car model, because it's far more like the F41's than anything
else out there and modifications are much

Yes, it's scary, but not as scary as trying to airbursh any of the Floquil
metalics. I found through bitter experience that Krylon Flat Aluminum is
MUCH easier to control than Floquil Old Silver or

I find that a little scary too, especially if this is a model you've spent a
good deal of time on. I have heard of folks taking a spray can and (gloves
on, over and under pieces of newspaper)

I think you have to piece together decals to model ATSF flat cars.
I am not aware of a single decal set in HO scale for ATSF general
service flat cars, other than those sold with Sunshine kits.

ATSF 93300-93499 Ft-W, acquired in 1952. Many cars were rebuilt and/or
renumbered within a couple of years (rebuilt with bulkheads that is) but
for Fenton's 1952 timeframe, a brand new Ft-W would be
