There IS a difference between being on topic for the list but in a narrow time frame and being outside the period of the list and off- topic ;^)

UP freight cars post-1951 have been poorly covered in books & magazines
unfortunately. I can surmise from scattered data that UP 506000-506114 were
renumbered from A-50-21 or A-50-22 automobile box

bent, bowed, had holes in them, either by design or by use...
