Re: 8-rung Ladders for IM
John,
Branchline Trains offered 8-rung ladders for 10'-6" box cars. Many of
their box kits included both 7-rung and 8-rung sets. These are "full
height" ladders unlike the 7-rung ladders in the IM kit

Tichy cement car
Hi all
I am new to this group, and being new, I may have missed an earlier posting on this subject. I have two question about this car. 1) Is the Tichy Train Groups model of a 1930's-1960's Cement

Re: old Westerfield kits on Ebay
I built one of these early kits, a CP or CN Fowler and once assembled they are quite sturdy. I did have the corner of the roof snap but the material breaks cleanly and it was easy to repair.

Re: old Westerfield kits on Ebay
Al/whoever,
I have several of the old kits. Unbuilt.
Would it be possible to do something like add a layer(s?) of
something to the insides of the parts to strengthen them?
White glue?
