Could you help me/us get to these photos. Are there more freight cars? I have tried but could not find photos.

Does the patch panel wrap around the ends? There's also
a seam on the ends. I'll look at the article but I think
this is harder than you make it sound! We're talking about
a seam that has to be

I'd like to post upcoming events but Patricia seldom sends me notice of

If you do that, the pre-drilled holes for the grabirons would
be in the wrong place. But I agree, hiding such a long horizontal
seam seems anything but easy.
Maybe take one of my old Yankee

Maybe I missed it early in this thread, but when did the transfer to WIF of the 10 cars occur?

Re: Stauffer Tank Car (UNCLASSIFIED)
Classification: UNCLASSIFIED
Caveats: NONE
I was not around in the early 50's, so I cannot comment on Stauffer cars for
that era, but I saw 103's in
Carbon Bisulphide service in the era just past

Re: Stauffer Tank Car
Those models look great, Tony.
I have the ORER from 1950 (my friend is modeling 1947). All of the SCHX cars are listed as either TM or TMI, 8,000 or 10,000 gallon.
We'll be browsing through Bob's

Re: Dominant tank car types
I sent Martin 100 tank shell casting sets (matched uppers & lowers) in early December, so he should be good to go. Frank Hodina did the patterns, denuded InterMountain 8K shells with 0.005" styrene

Re: Stauffer Tank Car
I have an undated Ebay grab shot of SCHX 88101, a 3-dome tank car
that appears to be about 6k, or perhaps 8k at most. It's plain black,
no Stauffer markings at all, with a walkway & handrails around
