Heated Box Car?
Ok, this question does have to do with late 1950s freight cars and a little bit to do
with beer, so hopefully it's a legit question.
My uncle was in the USAF in the 1950s, stationed in Canada

Would anyone happen to know whether, in the late 40s, the interiors of Southern Railway composite hoppers were painted? I'm working on a War Emergency car (*), and there's a Seley on the to-do

Re: gon identification
The SP box car appears to be a steel box car, either double door
or single door. If a double door then it's definitely an A-50-13.
If a single door, it could be from any of the 1937 AAR

RPM East -- Greensburg
The RPM East folks outdid themselves last weekend in Greensburg, PA. A wide variety of talks from well-informed speakers, excellent models, and a host of vendors. A job well done by all.
