Sorry I forgot, Portalnd has the Blueback SS 581, I was on the Barbel
SS580. These were diesel prototypes from which the Navy built the Skipjack
class SSN's.

stenciling, but the Des Plaines kit for a 1937 AAR steel box car with
Viking roof and square-cornered ends is correct for the prototype

boxcar kit from Des Plains Hobbies.
The car is an Intermountain Car With the stenciling of "BUY WAR BONDS"
added. It has a Viking
