Earliest (1930's) M. Dale Newton (Red Ball) advertising material for freight cars of 1940 and earlier.(printed c1936-1955)
Fellow members of STMFC may have collected Red Ball cars made by M. Dale
Newton in the Los Angeles area from the mid 30's to E1942, and in Medford,
Oregon from 1942 to 1955. Or cars made by Howell

Thinfilm is part of the Original Whistle Stop of Pasadena & the Coach Yard, brass passenger car & locomotive importers in HO scale. Thinfilm in the past has done decals for PFM & narrow gauge cars.

Thinfilm does mostly passenger car decals. The Arrowhead water bottle car
decals were done by George Huckbee.

Speaking of which, does anyone know of HO scale USQX decals?

(I'd buy one, for sure.)

The TrainCat website outdated pic might be of the Metro brass import,
but the N scale kit has been available for at least a couple of years
and renders a nice model. The lack of decals are an issue

Diamond Alkali also owned chlorine cannister flat cars like
the model imported by Metro (and claimed to be available from
Train Cat as well although the web site photos appear to be
the Metro model).

Several photos I have show built dates from 1929 through the early

Re: CGW 90000-90049 PS-0
Answering my own question -
There's a builder's photo in Kaminski's P-S freight car book, p. 51. Car has seven-rung ladders and conventional double truss coil-spring trucks.
