Re: Duryea underframe modelling...
Bruce--
You credit me with knowing a lot more about these cars and underframes than I actually do! I don't know much about Duryea underframes, and I've still a lot to learn about B&O hoppers.

Re: Duryea underframe modelling...
Bob or Steve,
I think many folks would appreciate seeing how to model this and would appreciate an article on how to get it close. You have the detailed knowledge and we would love to learn more

Brancbline 40' straight panelboxcar roof part No.140002
Does anybody have one of these that they would sell or trade, or knows where
I could buy one. I'm starting a Southern boxcar project and need one.
Don't know when or if Atlas will make these

Many thanks for all the help; I probably have the RMC issue packed away in a carton against my final (I hope) move--probably read it at the time and filed the information
away under everything since.

PS-0 was coined by modelers, I think John Nehrich was the first. PS-0 usually refers to the Pullman Standard cars built in the late 30 early 40’s. The WLE had some built in February 1940 that passed

Re: PS-0 end drawings needed
Stan Rydarowicz sells the Pullman propitiatory ends that were used on some riveted paneled box cars. He has both the 10' and 10'6" ends.
Jim Hayes has Stan's parts list and contact info on his site.

Re: PS-0 end drawings needed
Al Kresse asked:
"Can you define a PS-0 car? . . . the last of their riveted box cars? . . . like the C&O 14000-14999 40' 6" box cars?"
No. "PS-0 or PS-Zero" was John Nehrich's lexicon for two
