Re: MTH USRA 55-ton twin hoppers
The B-end image I got thru my viewer was very dark and shinny . . . I'll try copying it and trying PhotoShop. I am guessing a lever type hand brake?

Rich,
Based on two color magazine ads I bought this morning I believe the “Kingan Brand” name was a shade of mid-blue or a Saxon blue. Thanks for the reply.

I would find three or four seed types of varying but appropriate sizes, pile them, and fix in place like track ballast (*). If you sprayed the whole heap with polyurethane finish I doubt any smell

I'd address Jeff directly if I had his e-mail address, but perhaps
Randy or someone else on the list will pass this along. We need
sugar beet loads for Intermountain's Santa Fe Caswell

Reefer yellow sides, Box Car Red ends black lettering. In the '50's I believe the Kingans trademark was blue.

I've been communicating with Motrak, and they do not now nor have ever made sugar beet loads. HOWEVER, they are working on such loads for the future.

Brian and Group,
Right. Anise seeds. Yes. Smell like licorice.
I wonder if one were to dry the seeds out before constructing the load if that would quickly reduce the smell.
The article noted below
