According to a 1960 edition of Tank Car Capacities Tariff, HHCX #394 had a shell capy' of 8067 gallons and HHCX #5800 had a shell capy' of 8060 gallons. Both had dome capacities of 357

There's a photo of HHCX 580 in Ted Culotta's tank car book, p 93, in pretty much this scheme. The differences I can see are that the photo shows the capacity and light weight in small black letters up

Bill - According to my notes there was very little difference in the later lettering. The roadname was removed and extreme height and width added. Our decal set covers all lettering styles. - Al
