Re: Naperville
I agree with Tony's comments. Joe and crew did a great job. Highlights for
me:
1.) Tracking down Charlie Slater for help with a resin kit he did the
masters for.
2.) Discussing the Indiana Harbor

It is very interesting that we have two camps developing in either end of the
hobby....those that want extremely technically accurate models but do not
care for weathering...and those that are happy

John;
I had the exact same experience when I was first starting to use Modelflex,
and before I bought my Iwata Eclipse.
Rather than tell you what to do on the paint, I just want to caution you

Would having actual "scale air" in the air lines help or hinder the "O" scalers in resolving their dilemma?!

Re: Naperville
I totally agree Tony and frankly enjoyed the slower pace with fewer clinic options. I liked seeing younger modelers and more women.

I would just like to echo Tony's sentiments here on the meet.
I had a great time and enjoyed all the clincs I attended. Here's hoping that Joe can maintain the momentum.

Andy, Folks,
We've been over this before <G>. There are some magnet types that will allow this 100% of the time. IIRC, the last time this came up was when HiTech introduced their rubber air

Re: scale operating air hoses
The hoses would attract each other about 50% of the time--the other 50% they
would repel.

Guess that's what the O scalers are using.
Ran on Ted Schnepf's O scale layout Sunday morning. Quite a layout! Was a lot of fun. Learn right away you are really an engineer when trying to control

It was nice seeing you and others there as well. I thought, as well as others I talked to, that the attendance was down significantly from last year. The vendors will pretty much all agree
